Canadian Swim Patrol

For kids and teens ready to go beyond regular swim lessons, the Canadian Swim Patrol program is the next step. With three progressive levels—Rookie, Ranger, and Star—swimmers build strong strokes, develop lifesaving skills, and grow their confidence in the water. Each level introduces new challenges in fitness, first aid, and rescue skills, making it a fun and active way to prepare for Bronze-level certifications.

Rookie Patrol

Start strong with Rookie Patrol! This beginner-level program builds strong strokes, boosts endurance with 100-metre swims and 350-metre workouts, and introduces key lifesaving skills like victim recognition, EMS calls, and throwing assists.

Take your skills to the next level! Build strength with a 200-metre timed swim, learn stride entries and somersaults, and master the eggbeater kick. First aid training gets real—treat unconscious victims, manage shock, and practice rescues using buoyant aids.

Star Patrol

The final stop before Bronze-level certifications! Swimmers push their limits with 100m swims, a 300-metre timed swim, a 600-metre workout, and a 25-metre object carry. They'll also build advanced skills in first aid, in-water defense, and shallow water rescues.
