MacEwan Students are Members

As a MacEwan student, you're already a member of Sport and Wellness—it's included in your tuition fees. You have full access to the fitness centre, pool, drop-in classes, and get discounts on rec leagues, swim lessons and select registered programs. Plus, you can get a discounted pass for your partner or spouse.

Student memberships do not include parking or annual guest passes.

Fit Buddy


Pair up with a fellow student familiar with Sport and Wellness to help you navigate the equipment, activities, and workout spaces.

Gym Essentials


Kickstart your fitness journey! This two-part series is for MacEwan students who are ready to hit the gym but aren't sure where to start.

PASS: Physical Activity for Student Success


Work with an exercise specialist in 30-minute personal training sessions to build confidence in the fitness centre and improve your mental health through exercise.

Intermediate First Aid for MacEwan Students


Free for MacEwan students*, this Government of Alberta-approved course provides comprehensive training in first aid and CPR, covering injuries, burns, and medical emergencies. CPR-C and AED certification are included.

Prerequisite: none

*This free course is only open to students who are enrolled in one or more credits and have the Sport and Wellness fee included in their tuition.

Registrants will receive an email with additional information at least three days before the course begins.
