Every child who would benefit from additional support or a slower pace is welcome in SwimAbilities®, regardless of whether or not they have a diagnosis.
In every SwimAbilities® lesson, caregivers join their child in the water, providing hands-on support under the guidance of a certified instructor. This shared approach ensures a safe, supportive, and personalized learning experience.
Caregivers will learn techniques to help their child develop swimming skills and practice routines they’ll encounter during public swim times — such as entering and exiting the pool safely, waiting for turns, following pool rules and lifeguard directions, and becoming comfortable around other swimmers and activity in the water.
