First Aid Instructor/Examiner

This 32-hour course prepares participants to teach and evaluate candidates in Lifesaving Society CPR, Emergency First Aid, Intermediate First Aid, Aquatic Emergency Care, CPR-HCP, and Oxygen (O2) Administration programs. Participants also learn class management, safety supervision, principles of evaluation and long/short-term planning.

The First Aid Instructor course prepares instructors to apply level 1 leadership competencies and strategies designed to teach the First Aid programs for which they hold a current candidate award in.

Prerequisite: Must be 18 years of age or older and have a current Intermediate First Aid certification from the Lifesaving Society or a Government of Alberta approved training agency

Registrants will receive an email with additional information at least three days before the course begins.
