Aquatic Fitness Classes

Invigorating water workouts that blend low-impact exercises with high-impact results.

Please register for drop-in classes in advance. You can reserve your spot up to seven days in advance. If you are unable to attend your reserved class, please call 780-497-5300 (option 2) or email welcomedesk@macewan.ca at least 90 minutes before the class starts to cancel your spot.

Coached Swim Training


Improve competitive swimming skills, stroke techniques, and overall personal fitness with coached swim training.
Prerequisite: Ability to comfortably swim full lengths of the pool

Deep Water Fitness


Using aqua belts for buoyancy, this deep water aerobics class provides a strength and cardiovascular workout to enhance stamina and muscle strength.

Flotation belts are provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own clean equipment.

Shallow and deep-water classes are offered as a combined class.

Shallow Water Fitness


Gentle on the joints but challenging enough to boost your fitness, this low-impact class utilizes buoyancy and resistance for a full-body workout.

Flotation belts are provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own clean equipment.

Shallow and deep-water classes are offered as a combined class.
